Paediatric/Kids
Specialist assessment and intervention is provided to children aged 2 to 17 years of age in hand writing, fine motor, gross motor, social and sensory skills.  See 'kids' tab for more information.  

Wheelchair Scripting and Complex Seating
Specialist assessment and scripting of manual, power assist and power wheelchairs.  An Occupational Therapist will find the best suited wheelchair, seating and postural system to meet your needs and lifestyle.  Raw and Moore also has experience completing customised seating molds for clients with specialised needs.

Home Assessments
The purpose of a home assessment is to identify potential access and environmental barriers which may make activities of daily living difficult.  An Occupational Therapist will come out to your home and compile recommendations based on your mobility and function to enable independence, including equipment prescription and/or home modifications.

Home Modification Reports
The purpose of home modifications is to make an environment suitable for completing activities of daily living independently and minimise manual handling risks for families/carers.  Raw and Moore work in partnership with CGF Home Improvements.  CGF Home Improvements have experience working directly with Occupational Therapists in the Canberra community to provide affordable home modifications.  Examples of types of home modifications include: grab rails, shower hob removal, hand held shower hoses, full bathroom/kitchen restoration, ramps.

Personal Care Assessments
Activities of daily living (ADL) are tasks we engage in to prepare us for our day ahead.  For example showering, dressing and toileting are considered ADLs.  Our therapists are able to provide advice based on difficulties you may be having to complete these day to day tasks. 

Cognitive Assessments

Our therapists are experienced in providing cognitive assessments in the hospital and community settings.  Our therapists can complete standardised assessments and provide recommendations based assessment findings.

Our therapists have clinical experience working with a variety of equipment including:

With a lot of products, sizes and styles on the market it can be difficult to know what equipment may be right for you.  Based on your needs our therapists can guide you on what equipment is right for you.  Education about use of equipment is also important to ensure you get the most out of your product.  Raw and Moore stock a range of equipment and can provide care and education advice.

Yes we do sell equipment! When you buy through R&M your equipment is set up by an Occupational Therapist. Please contact us if there is an item you are after.

Mobile Hand Therapy 
We are able to provide mobile hand therapy including fabrication of thermoplastic and neoprene splints to both child and adults for a range of conditions, including: Cerebral Palsy, Stroke, Spinal Cord Injury.

Raw and Moore providing consulting to enable clients and their families to make informed decisions about the products and services available in the health industry to enable independence, maintain quality of life and minimise manual handling risks associated with families and carers.
